“We want to use the centrifuge in a highly clean class 100.000 clean room” Mark3β

We want to use the centrifuge in a highly clean class 100.000 clean room.

A producer of APIs for pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer J Corporation, consulted us, explaining, “We want to use a centrifuge in a class 100,000 clean room to collect most of the product with as little loss as possible.” So we proposed and supplied
a high-throughput (large basket) MarkIIIβ, which has no risk of belt dust (mixing of foreign matter), equipped with a Screw residual crystal detachment device.

As a result of using our centrifuge, J Corporation were able to use it without problems in a highly clean class 100,000 clean room, the collection rate of their pharmaceutical products increased compared to usual centrifuges, and with its compact installation space, low vibration and low noise, they were able to use it in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.

Key Points

A new design that strongly suppresses the occurrence of foreign matter

We designed a new Screw residual crystal detachment device that strongly suppressed the occurrence of foreign matter, more so than the usual part.

We made improvements based on several meetings with the customer so that the centrifuge could be used without problems even in the highly clean class 100,000 clean room the customer used.

See here for the operation of the Screw residual crystal detachment device.

Work area kept clean

Since there is no V belt for driving the device, dust no longer appears due to slippage, and so the work area can be kept clean.

Reduce the maintenance overhead

Since there is no V belt to drive the device, the overhead of belt adjustment, and the problem of belt breakage through long-term usage, if unlikely, can be avoided.

Maintenance Overhaul

Small installation area despite large capacity

Since in our Mark III β the motor is placed in the central upper part of the centrifuge, it is not necessary to install the centrifuge’s electric motor unit at the side of the centrifuge.

So even in a limited area, the installation area can be kept to a compact size.

Low vibration, low noise

Since the motor is placed in the central upper part of the centrifuge, compared to other companies’ existing horizontal centrifuges, its contribution to low vibrations, and reduced machine noise has received high praise.
