A pharmaceuticals manufacturer, F Corporation, told us, “We want to do something about the crystals collecting in the boss part at the back of the basket when switching products in high-mix manufacturing.” Based on this, we proposed a machine that can clean the back of the boss with basket boss reverse cleaning.

In addition, with the objective of improving cleanability that is considered important in pharmaceuticals manufacturing, we also proposed and supplied a centrifuge equipped with a casing panel, casing open and close mechanism, and a liftable basket.

As a result of using our centrifuge, cleaning behind the basket boss, which had been concerning the customer, and of the entire machine interior improved, leading to a reduction in risk of contamination.

Cleaning the back of the basket boss

It is possible to clean completely even the back of the basket boss, and collection of crystals at the back of the basket was stopped.

Casing panel

As the casing is rounded without corners, there are no corners where the crystals can become clogged.

This prevents mixing of different substances or contamination when switching products.

Casing open and close mechanism

By using an open and close style casing, when the basket is open, the centrifuge casing interior, the whole basket and any attached equipment can be cleaned thoroughly. Due to this, the centrifugal can be sufficiently cleaned.

Liftable basket

By raising the basket, the casing interior and basket bottom can be easily cleaned, which lightens the workload of the machine operator and contributes to increased product quality.
