We want to re-dissolve the crystals during filtration.
A cosmetics manufacturer, N Corporation, told us,社様の“If we apply a centrifugal force using a centrifuge with a non-perforated wall then the cake (crystals) attaches to the wall, so we want to re-dissolve that cake inside the centrifuge.” So we proposed and supplied a centrifuge able to re-dissolve the crystals inside the filtration machine.
As a result of using our centrifuge, there was no longer any need to install a machine known as a melting tank so saving on space in the factory, and also as there was no longer any need to purchase a melting tank, the investment expense could also be greatly reduced.

Usually, the process consists of filtration carried out in a centrifuge, re-dissolving in a melting tank, and after that further filtration in a centrifuge, and so the raw materials of the cosmetics have to be processed in several machines,
a centrifuge, a melting tank, and a centrifuge again.
For this reason, we proposed a specification that enabled processing with one centrifuge.
The flow using the proposed centrifuge:
① Slurry fed into the centrifuge
② Centrifugal force applied and the liquid and solid are separated due to different specific gravities
③ The upper clarified liquid is discharged by skimming
④ Cleaning solution is poured in
⑤ The cleaning solution is applied to the cake using the scraping blade
⑥ Re-dissolving is carried out inside the centrifuge
⑦ The centrifugal force is applied and the liquid and solid are separated due to their different specific gravities

As a result, due to re-dissolving taking place inside the centrifuge, processing goes from requiring
a total of 3 machines: a centrifuge, a melting tank, and a centrifuge

to requiring only 1 centrifuge.
As it is no longer necessary to install the melting tank machine, this saves space inside the factory , and also as there was no longer any need to purchase a melting tank, the investment expense could also be greatly reduced.
