Centrifuge for the Production of Limestone and Diatomite

Product Specifications

The large basket capacity, large filtration area, and large centrifugal force (800 ~ 900g) enable rapid processing of large quantities. Separation by filtration and separation in the refining process such as in the production of limestone and diatomite are extremely efficient, and the rotation can be controlled to match the product for the best results.

Casing Open/Close Mechanism

The open/close type casing enables the opening of the basket. Thus, the inside of the casing, the entire basket, accessories, etc., can be cleaned thoroughly. As a result, when materials being processed are changed, fully clean centrifugal processing is possible.

Electron Beams Metal Screen

A metal screen, made of SUS or hastelloy, may replace the filter cloth. Perforated by electron beams, the screen prevents foreign matter from mixing into the material being processed and thus secures high quality separation.

FUJIPLATE Metal Screen

A metal screen, made of SUS or hastelloy, may replace the filter cloth. FUJIPLATE Metal screen are made up of several layers of mesh sintered together to form an integrated porous metal element. FUJIPLATE Metal screen prevents foreign matter from mixing into the material being processed and thus secures high quality separation.

Filter Cleaner

High-pressure air or N2 gas spouted from a nozzle attached to the scraper scales cake residues from the filter cloth facilitating the subsequent draining process. Using high-pressure water instead of air, the filter cloth also can be washed cleanly.

Speed Reducer

Slow down a rotating basket for it may be adequately washed clean.

Single-motion Scraper

Built with simple structure without consumable components, such as bellows, that scraper saves cake removing and money.

CIP Cleaning In The Machine

Cleaning nozzles are attached to the outside of the casing. A shower ball cleans the inside of the machine with water or solvent.

Exhaust Recycler

Mounted on the casing, this device circulates exhaust air from the liquid discharge port back into the basket. This increases separation efficiency and saves N2 gas consumption.

Insulation Jacket

A heat insulation jacket on the casing regulates the casing temperature using heating steam or cooling water. This secures constant-temperature operations and thus optimizes separation conditions.

Cake Discharge Port Switching Device

The device prevents a drop of slurry or cleaning solution to the cake receiver during the fluid supply, cleaning and deliquoring processes. Slide type, press-fit slide type, and hinged type are available.

Residual Crystal Scraper Device "SCREW"

By adopting a multi-blade structure for the residual crystal scraper device, it is possible to recover crystals with the highest efficiency up to the limit of the filter cloth.

・Considering the throughput, the installation area is small, so installation is possible in a small space.

・Since the motor is located in the center of the centrifuge, there is little vibration, so there is no effect on a centrifuge stand or buildings.

・Since there are no parts that wear, such as belts, there is no contamination and maintenance is straightforward.

・Various recipes can be programmed, and various safety devices are provided, so automated operation is possible.

・Since the metal part and basket part are fully open, it is easy to clean and confirm the cleaning, reducing the risk of contamination.

・Regulation disks can be used for fully automated processing without human intervention, including slurry supply, separation, cake washing, crystal recovery, and cleaning, thus saving on labor without the need for operator intervention.

・Using a metal filter eliminates the need to replace a filter cloth.

・A nozzle is attached to the scraper device, and by injecting high-pressure air or nitrogen gas, the remaining crystals of the filter cloth can be detached and recovered with the highest efficiency. The device also facilitates the removal of liquid during reuse.
