Therefore, we proposed a specification in which the feed pipe for inserting slurry (the liquid prior to filtration) into the centrifuge and the cleaning pipe for cleaning off crystals after filtration which are usually implemented as two pipes, were implemented in a single, common feed and cleaning pipe that could be switched at any time depending on the use.
We were able to keep down the price by reducing the required pipes from two to one.
In addition, by treating the exterior surface of the main body of the machine with an acid wash instead of buffing (processing method to make the metal surface clean), the price was less than for a buffed finish.
As a result of using our centrifuge, the customer introduced a centrifuge that kept costs down as much as possible while meeting their required specification, and were able to use the machine comfortably.
*The KM in the photo has a buffed finish. In the case of an acid wash, the finish will appear cloudy on a satin finish.
