What are the SDGs?
The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are international goals for the period from 2016 to 2030 stated in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001.
Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets for a sustainable world, the agenda promises to the whole planet to “leave no one behind.”

Matsumoto Machinery Group’s centrifuges are used in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, electronics materials, and recycling. We contribute to ensuring a healthy life for people through centrifuge manufacturing and marketing for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and foods.
5. Realize Gender Equality
The Matsumoto Machinery Group is promoting the introduction of telework to create an environment where it is easier for women to work and for men to participate in housework and childcare.In the past, there were many cases where employees with small children were not able to take time off when their children were suddenly ill, for example. This situation is awkward and psychologically taxing for the employees themselves. If this situation continued, eventually the employee would have no choice but to resign, so this is one of our challenges.For this reason, Matsumoto Machinery is promoting telework because we believe it is necessary to establish a working environment and systems to enable women who are required to balance family and work to achieve their full potential.
